Use Adaway as an Android IP Filter / Blocklist

I spent some time trying to find an acceptable ipfilter for Android and had almost hit a wall. Repeated suggestions of Peerblock were unacceptable as the application is buggy and has not seen development in some months.

It is then, by coincidence, that I recognized Adaway as a perfect ipfilter app.

Why is it so perfect? Let’s do a breakdown:

• Automatically updates blocklists
• Accepts third party blocklists
• Does not require xposed framework, only root
• Stable and actively developed
