AdAway Blocklists
I spent some time trying to find an acceptable ipfilter for Android and had almost hit a wall. Repeated suggestions of Peerblock were unacceptable as the application is buggy and has not seen development in some months.
It is then, by coincidence, that I recognized Adaway as a perfect ipfilter app.
Why is it so perfect? Let’s do a breakdown:
- Automatically updates blocklists
- Accepts third party blocklists
- Does not require xposed framework, only root
- Stable and actively developed
